History The Blind Goose Approximately five years ago, Gary & Patty came to Lewellen on vacation. While relaxing on their jet skis in the middle of Lake McConaughy they both got a feeling they never had before. They felt a sense of belonging and completion in their hearts. In October of 2002 they made the big move to their new home. As they became more involved with the people in the area they both knew this was the place they wanted to spend the rest of their lives. Gary continued to work in Colorado until December of 2006. He & Patty spent many hours over countless conversations trying to decide what to do next. After two years of searching, they decided to purchase the local bar and restaurant. They wanted to do their best to keep the business family owned and operated. Their goal now is to pass the business on to their children in the years to come. It is their desire to keep the Blind Goose a safe, fun and pleasant place to visit, as well as to support the children in this community.
